Client Overview
Our client is a 300+ year-old financial institution and a global leader positively impacting the financial community – be it in trading and banking, investment, wealth, customer and third-party risk, and enterprise data solutions. As a part of the recent acquisition, their Global Fintech arm, the customer aimed to become one of the world’s largest providers of financial markets data and infrastructure.
The Ask
As the part of the acquisition of the Market Data Provider, the integration and consolidation programme needed a Data Platform with modern and advanced capabilities. The new Data Platform needs to cater to data on boarding & engineering from various internal and external sources (mostly legacy) whilst ensuring data quality, standardisation, transformation and dissemination are performed robustly. It must also have sufficient agility to meet the rapid timelines demanded by the integration.
